KOCHI: Dramatic scenes unfolded outside the Kakkanad jail following the release of businessman Boby Chemmanur, who was granted bail in the case involving alleged sexual harassment remarks against actress Honey Rose. The All Kerala Men’s Association attempted to celebrate his release. After Boby walked out of Kakkanad jail, his supporters attempted to burst firecrackers outside the jail in celebration. However, the police stopped them from doing so, resulting in a brief moment of tension near the jail premises.
A large number of people had gathered outside the jail. Boby’s supporters clashed with media personnel, pushing them aside. Supporters raised slogans in his favour while the police confiscated the firecrackers. After the dramatic events, the crowd eventually dispersed, with some supporters declaring they would celebrate with fireworks elsewhere with Boby.
