PATHANAMTHITTA: More information surface in connection with the death of 19-year-old Gayathri at Murinjakal in Konni Pathanamthitta. Her stepfather Chandrasekharan came forward raising suspicion on her death. He suspects the hands of Adarsh, the lorry driver, who was staying with Gayathri’s mother. Her stepfather Chandrasekharan said Adarsh was at home on the day Gayathri was found dead and now saying that he was in Goa.

Gayathri was a student of Agniveer course in the army recruitment training center in Adoor. Her mother Raji alleged that mental harassment by her teacher, an ex-serviceman of the center, pushed her to death. Her stepfather's revelation is amidst this. Chandrasekharan claimed that there were problems in the institution and that he had warned not to send her for training there.

'I raised Gayathri. Her name is Gayathri Chandrasekharan in all the documents. Raji filed a complaint at the Konni police station saying that she wants to break ties with me. Was not in touch with her for a year. Gayathri will not commit suicide. She is matured enough and will not take such a drastic step. The police should investigate the case in detail,' Chandrasekharan demanded.

Raji's mother alleged that she ended her life after her teacher invited her for dating. Raji revealed today that the teacher threatened her daughter by showing her nude pictures. Raji alleged that he captured her nude pictures when they went for excursion.
