KOCHI: Former SFI state secretary PM Arsho has said that Shalik, the accused who was arrested in the case of ganja being seized in the Kalamassery Polytechnic College hostel, is a KSU activist. Arsho has also posted a photo of Shalik inaugurating the KSU membership campaign in 2023 at Polytechnic.

Arsho has challenged opposition leader VD Satheesan and Ramesh Chennithala in a social media post. 'If you have dignity and respect, stop the depraved work you are doing now and take a stand against this social disaster. Otherwise, history will mark you as a greater poison than synthetic drugs,' Arsho wrote on Facebook.

Translated FB post:

"The investigation team has today arrested the former students who brought cannabis to Kalamassery Polytechnic. Media in Kerala has somewhat abandoned searching out the political past.

This is a picture of the main accused, Shalik, inaugurating the 2023 KSU membership campaign in Polytechnic.

The current opposition leader and the former opposition leader are spitting out pure lies, and I'm sure that the media would not question them.

V D Satheesan, Ramesh Chennithala, if you have any dignity or respect, stop the depraved work you are doing now and take a stand against this social disaster. Otherwise, history will mark you as a greater poison than synthetic drugs,' Arsho wrote on Facebook."
