Elderly couple found hanging in Pathanamthitta

PATHANAMTHITTA: An elderly couple was found hanging in their rented house. They have been identified as Appu Narayanan (70) and Rajamma (65) of Valyanthi in Pathanamthitta. They committed suicide after playing a song loudly on the radio.

The couple’s daughter-in-law and grandchildren were at home at the time of the incident. They kept the song loudly so that they wouldn't hear the noise.
