CBSE 10, 12 exam results will not be announced today, board dismisses news

NEW DELHI: Reports said the results of CBSE Class 10 and 12 will be announced next week. The CBSE board has denied the news that the results will be declared today. The CBSE board also said that the date of declaration of results will be announced in advance. Students and parents are advised not to believe in false information and should rely only on information from CBSE's official websites cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in.

'As per the pattern followed in previous years, CBSE class 10 and 12 results are expected to be declared by the second week of May 2025. Last year, the results were declared on May 13. A similar timeline is expected this year too. However, the present news is false,' an official said.

A total of more than 44 lakh students appeared for the CBSE exams this year. Around 24.12 lakh students appeared for the Class 10th and around 17.88 lakh students appeared for the Class 12th exams. The results for both the classes are likely to be declared on the same day. Once the results are declared, students can check and download their provisional mark sheets online using their roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth. The actual mark sheets will be available through schools.
