‘No compromise, I will be there as a warhorse against CPM’; Sudhakaran enumerates feats

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K Sudhakaran, the outgoing KPCC chief, enumerated his feats. He said many things that he started could not be completed. Everything that he undertook has been successfully completed. He said that he will be there as a warhorse against the CPM. Sudhakaran's remarks were at the function where KPCC office bearers took office.

‘The CUC (Congress Unit Committee) could not be completed. I entrust that to Sunny. Was able to attain a great victory in the local body by-elections. Stepping down from the post is not an issue. My strength is my workers. I will be there as a warhorse against the CPM.

No compromise with the administrations and that is my style. My stand does not change with the double-hearted (Iratta Chankan). I thank Mallikarjuna Kharge and Rahul Gandhi for appointing me in the working committee. Sunny Joseph is my younger brother. I am proud of Sunny's political achievements. KPCC will provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the family of late Pathanamthitta DCC vice president M G Kannan,' said K Sudhakaran.

Sunny Joseph and the appointed office bearers arrived to take charge after visiting A K Antony. Antony said that he has complete faith in the new team. They will be able to unite all the people along with strengthening the UDF and the Congress. Antony said that he likes the coastal and hilly people the most. This team will be able to provide relief to the hilly farmers. The son of a hilly farmer has become the KPCC president. Antony also said that Sunny Joseph has grown step by step from the village of Ulikkal and has reached the Congress leadership today.
