KOZHIKODE: More details have come out regarding the incident where a youth named Anoos Roshan was abducted from his house in Koduvally, Kozhikode. Anoos Roshan's mother Jameela said that the gang that abducted her son arrived in two cars. She also said that the accused had covered their faces and initially attempted to abduct Anoos's father.

Jameela explained that Anoos attempted to prevent the gang from taking his father, which led the attackers to abduct him instead. The abduction is believed to be linked to a financial dispute involving hawala money. Jameela revealed that Anoos's brother had financial dealings with three individuals, and that Rs 35 lakh was owed to one of them.

Anoos Roshan, son of Kizhakkoth native Rasheed, was abducted around 4 PM today. A group armed with weapons arrived in a car and forcibly took Anoos from the house. A knife believed to belong to the attackers was found in the courtyard.

The abductors used a car with the registration number ‘KL 65 L 8306’. Anoos’s brother, Ajmal Roshan, is currently working abroad. CCTV footage shows the suspects leaving the scene in the car. Earlier in the evening, the group had come to the house and rang the doorbell. However, they left when Anoos’s father came outside. According to family members, two of the individuals had visited the house previously. Koduvally police have launched an investigation into the incident.
