Famous Kollywood actor Abhinay Kinger dies

CHENNAI: Famous Kollywood actor Abhinay Kinger (44) passed away. He was undergoing treatment for liver ailments for quite some time He died Monday morning at 4 am in Chennai. Abhinay Kinger is the son of national award-winner and late actress Radhamani. He rose to fame with the film ‘Thulluvadho Ilamai’, which hit the theatres in 2002. He had also acted in advertisements for many leading brands.

The actor's financial condition was very bad following his escalating medical bills. His co-star Dhanush, and others had helped him financially. His last film was 'Vallavanakkum Pullum Ayudham' released in 2014. He played lead roles in films like Solla Solla Inikkum, Palaivana Solai, Jjunction, Singara Chennai, Pon Megalai, Thuppakki, and Anjaan. He also played the role of Kishore in the Malayalam film Kai Ethum Doorathu in 2002, starring Fahadh Faasil.

Apart from acting, he has proven his talent in the field of dubbing. He had dubbed for actors Vidyut Jammwal in Vijay's Thuppakki, Milind Soman in Karthi's Payya, and for actor Babu Antony in Kakka Muttai. The members of the South Indian Artistes' Association have been asked to assess the situation and perform the actor’s last rites, as he has no family.
