AIIMS: High Court directs feasibility study in Kinalur

KOCHI: The High Court directed the Central Government to conduct a feasibility study at Kinalur, Kozhikode, where the State Government proposed to set up AIIMS. The Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Soumen Sen and Justice V.M. Shyamkumar directed that the study be conducted in collaboration with the State Government.

The State had informed that the land at Kinalur is as per the guidelines. The Division Bench also directed the Union Health Secretary to file a reply affidavit in this regard on the 25th. The petition filed by the AIIMS Kasaragod Public Action Committee will be considered again on the 25th.
