BENGALURU: In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old boy stabbed two people to death following a dispute related to an illicit relationship. The incident took place in Peenya, Bengaluru. The victims have been identified as Yamuna (36), wife of Mallegowda, and her brother Sudeep (34). They were reportedly killed when they entered the house of Chaya, the boy’s mother.

According to reports, Mallegowda and Chaya had been in a long-term relationship. Yamuna and her brother had gone to Chaya’s house to question this relationship.

It is alleged that the two entered the house forcefully with a knife and attempted to attack Chaya. Seeing his mother in danger, the 16-year-old boy grabbed the weapon from them and stabbed both of them multiple times. Both victims sustained severe injuries to different parts of their bodies and died on the spot.

After the incident, the frightened boy locked himself inside a room and refused to come out even when the police arrived. He eventually opened the door only after his father spoke to him. The Peenya police have started an investigation, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. As the accused is a minor, further action will be taken under juvenile law.
