ERNAKULAM: One more student, who recently returned from China, has been kept under observation in the Ernakulam Medical College Hospital for suspected exposure to the deadly novel coronavirus. Following this, the number of people kept under observation for the presence of coronavirus in Kochi has become three. While two are undergoing treatment in Ernakulam Medical College, one person is admitted to a private hospital.
Meanwhile, minister KK Shailaja said that the situation is very much under control and there is no need to worry. She also added that NORKA has informed that the Malayali people residing in China are safe.
The people kept under observation will continue in the isolation wards until the Pune National Virology Institute releases the test results.
