THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI State secretary Kanam Rajendran has said if anyone new is willing to come to the Left Front, that matter will be discussed within the Front and an united decision will be taken.
“The CPI doesn’t have a changed stand in the case of Kerala Congress. When discussion on Kerala Congress takes place, CPI will clarify its stand. When UDF becomes weak, the CPI will not be game for helping any particular faction.
The CPI will not function as the ventilator for the Jose group. Jose group will have to decide where they have to be. The media need not be hell bent on screwing them into some place,” he said, adding that he was not there to express his opinion on each word said by the chief minister.
Kanam said that there is difference between LDF and UDF. “LDF is a front that is functioning on the basis of policies and programmes. It has a left image. If any one comes running to join the Left, we will not straightaway allow entry to that person.”
