Five killed in car-lorry collision in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: Five people were killed when a car and a lorry collided at Ramanattukara in the district. The dead have been identified as Muhammed Sahir, Nazar, Subair, Asainar and Thahir, natives of Cherpulassery in Palakkad. The accident happened when the lorry carrying cement collided with the Bolero.

The accident happened Monday morning at 4.45 am. The five in the Bolero died on the spot itself. Indications are that the accident happened when they returning from Karipur Airport. The vehicle is Ottappalam registration. The bodies have been shifted to Kozhikode Medical College with the help of the locals, police and the fire force.
