Case registered by ED will not stand, allegations could not be proved, says Bineesh Kodiyeri

BENGALURU: The argument of Bineesh Kodiyeri’s lawyer on the bail plea filed by him in the money laundering case has been completed. His lawyer said the case registered against Bineesh by the ED will not stand as he was not implicated in the narcotic control bureau drug case and the allegations levelled against him so far has not been proved.

Bineesh's lawyer told the court that the investigation team had earlier informed the court that there were several cases against Bineesh in Kerala and Dubai, but had not spoken about it and had not produced any documents.

The case is coming before the high court for the thirteenth time. It has been nine months since Bineesh Kodiyeri was arrested. The ED's counter arguments opposing the bail plea will be heard on Friday.
