Two natives of Bengal glued to phone run over by train in capital city

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two migrant laborers died after hit by a train at Thumba. They have been identified as James Oran (39) and Ganesh (26), natives of West Bengal. The incident happened when they were busy talking on their mobile phone while walking down the railway tracks.

The bodies of the two were found on the railway track Tuesday morning. Their mobile phones and headset were recovered from the spot. The two were construction workers and lived at Chithiranagar in Kulathur.

The Thumba and railway police reached the spot. The police team questioned those staying with them in detail. The police said that there is no other mystery in their deaths. The bodies were shifted to the mortuary of the medical college hospital after completing the preliminary procedures.
