CBI report reiterates no foul play in death of Balabhaskar

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CBI reiterated in court that violinist Balabhaskar's death was an accident. The report submitted in the court has clarified that there is nothing mysterious in the incident. The CBI stated their stand in the plea seeking dismissal of the reports.

Balabhaskar died on October 2 in 2018 after seriously injured in the accident. The car carrying Balabhaskar and his family met with an accident on the national highway near the Pallippuram CRPF camp junction on September 25 at around 4.30 am. The car which lost control crashed into a tree on the roadside. Balabhaskar's two-year-old daughter Tejaswini Bala died on the spot following the accident. Critically injured Balabhaskar died during treatment.
