Major reshuffle in Kerala Police top ranks; Shyam Sundar appointed as Bevco MD, Shoukath Ali is new SP of ATS

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A major reshuffle has been initiated in Kerala Police's top ranks. Yogesh Gupta has been removed from the post of Bevco MD. DIG S Shyam Sundar has been appointed as Bevco MD. Yogesh Gupta has been posted as Police Training ADGP.

Chaithra Theresa John has been removed from the charge of the Anti-Terror Squad. Chaithra has been appointed as Railway SP. Shoukath Ali is the new SP of the Anti-Terror Squad. Rahul R Nair, who returned after the central deputation, will be the Kozhikode Crime Branch SP. KV Santosh Kumar will continue as Malappuram Crime Branch SP. Of the new IPS recruits, eight have been appointed as SPs.
