Bineesh Kodiyeri to reach Thiruvananthapuram today; Possibility of further disclosure against ED

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Bineesh Kodiyeri, released on bail in the money laundering-benami deal in the drug case, will reach Thiruvananthapuram today. Bineesh will arrive on a flight from Bangalore at 9.30 am.

After his arrival in Kerala, Bineesh Kodiyeri may reveal more against the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The ED is politically haunting him and the BJP is behind it, alleged Bineesh yesterday.

Bineesh was released from the Parappana Agrahara Jail around 8 pm on Saturday. His brother Binoy and friends were there to receive him. He was released from the jail a year after his arrest.

The Karnataka High Court granted him bail on October 28. He could not be released from jail on Friday due to the delay in producing sureties. The main bail conditions were to produce two sureties with a bond of Rs 5 lakh each. Though two natives of Karnataka were brought to the sessions court for this, they withdrew at the last time seeing the bail conditions. Two were found later and produced in the court but by then the time was over.
