Shan murder: Police recovers weapons used by accused

ALAPPUZHA: In the SDPI leader Shan murder case, the weapons abandoned by the accused have been recovered. The probe team found five swords in Pullankulam in Alappuzha.

Meanwhile, the arrest of all the five accused in custody in the Shan murder case was recorded today. This brings the total number of people arrested in the case to 13. All are BJP-RSS activists. ADGP Vijay Sakhare said the probe is being conducted by gathering maximum evidence. The probe team said it had received crucial evidence that could reach the accused in the murder case of BJP leader Ranjith Srinivasan. But the BJP alleged that Ranjith's family will not get with the police's way of investigation.
