Mammootty tests positive for Covid-19, disease confirmed during film shoot

KOCHI: Malayalam superstar Mammootty tested positive for Covid-19. Reports said he turned positive during the shoot of the fifth part of CBI. In the test conducted after having cold and throat pain, he was confirmed of the virus. With this, the shooting of the film progressing in Kochi was suspended for two weeks. The doctors attending him said he is in good health.

His fans came to the fore wishing him a speedy recovery. The actor was alert and had taken precautions following the fast spread of the virus. It has been 60 days since the shooting of the movie directed by K Madhu and scripted by S N Swamy started.
