Kerala records 26,729 COVID-19 cases on Sunday, 22 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 26,729 COVID-19 cases on Sunday. Among these, 25,337 persons developed the disease through contact, including 1083 cases without an identified source of infection. 119 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 190 health workers contracted the disease on Sunday.

49,261 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 3,29,348 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 22 deaths due to the virus on Sunday with the toll rising to 58,255.

Ernakulam 3989, Thiruvananthapuram 3564, Thrissur 2554, Kottayam 2529, Kollam 2309, Kozhikode 2071, Malappuram 1639, Alappuzha 1609, Kannur 1442, Pathanamthitta 1307, Palakkad 1215, Idukki 1213, Wayanad 825, Kasaragod 463.
