Unruly scenes on film location: Actor Shine Tom Chacko knocks a local man

KOCHI: A clash broke out between the film crew of Thallumaala and the locals at the location site. It has been alleged that actor Shine Tom Chacko had beat one from the area. The shooting was progressing on Kalamassery HMD Road.

The locals of the area said waste was being dumped from the film location regularly. A fight broke out when questioned this. The locals had complained about dumping waste on public roads and parking of vehicles causing traffic jams. The fight broke out amidst this. It is learned that actor Tovino Thomas also intervened when the dispute escalated. Soon after this, a clash broke out.

Police reached the spot, talked to both the groups and eased the situation. However, police said no one has lodged a complaint. Khalid Rahman is the director of the film. Tovino Thomas and Kalyani Priyadarshan play lead roles in the film.
