THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A warning has been issued that the fourth wave of Covid should not be seen lightly. The state health department has warned everyone to be vigilant. Health experts opined that the fourth wave of the pandemic will arrive in June-July.


Health experts warned that the transmission of the disease will be higher in the fourth wave of Covid. The disease is unlikely to worsen. Death rates will also be lower, but should be careful. Masks and sanitizers should be used, the officials said.

1088 people were confirmed of the virus yesterday. There are 9530 active cases presently. Only 9.5% of it are under treatment in hospitals. 26,967 are under observation. One died of the disease yesterday. A total of 66,793 had died of the virus.
