THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM has come out against the communal remarks made by former MLA PC George. The CPM state secretariat said in a statement that the action of PC George, who made hate speech in Kerala, which is known for its humanitarianism, was highly reprehensible.
PC George made the controversial remark against a religious sect during the Ananthapuri Hindu Maha Sangamam held in Thiruvananthapuram. 'Such a speech comes at a time when all communal activists are consciously implementing plans to create communal polarization in Kerala. This cannot be dismissed as his usual blabberings. He should withdraw the statement and apologize to the people of Kerala,' the statement read.
