KOCHI: Suresh Gopi expressed his stand on the incident where a student was banned from the Samastha venue. Suresh Gopi said that the state government and the opposition should clarify their opinion on the incident. Suresh Gopi was campaigning for the BJP candidate in the by-election of ward 62 of Kochi Municipal Corporation.

"Why should I respond to the incident? Let the Chief Minister respond or let the Home Minister say. Both are one. I know that. I meant the position. Let the opposition respond. Call us, offer us a seat and then ask. Then we will respond. We have no responsibility to tell now. I don't prefer questions which establishes that we are people of hatred during election time. There is no answer to such questions. An injustice took place here. Who should question that injustice? The responsibility lies with the opposition and the ruling party. Ask them," said Suresh Gopi.
