Youth stabs 19-year-old girl on Goa beach for refusing to continue relationship; dumps body

PANAJI: A 26-year-old youth has been arrested for stabbing to death a 19-year-old girl on Goa beach for refusing to continue their relationship. The incident happened on Wednesday at the Velsaon beach in Goa. She has been identified as Diya Naik.

The youth Kishan Kalangutkar was arrested on Thursday, a day after the body of the woman was found on the beach. He arrived at the beach with the girl on Wednesday. He was upset when she refused to continue the relationship with him. Following that, a verbal dispute broke out and in a fit of rage, he stabbed her to death. He later dumped the body in a bush nearby and fled the place. Kishan was arrested in an investigation conducted.
