Woman brutally thrashed in capital city alleging theft; case against beauty parlour owner

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman was brutally thrashed on the road alleging theft in broad daylight. The incident happened Thursday afternoon at Sasthamangalam in the capital city. The woman was thrashed by the owner of a beauty parlour. The Museum police registered a case on the complaint of the woman identified as Shobha.

The parlour owner Meenu said the victim was sitting near her shop, provoked her in various ways and when unbearable to tolerate her act, beat her. The video shows Meenu beating her with her shoes.

However, Shobha said that she was searching her missing mobile phone. Police said that she has some mental issues.
