THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Education Minister V Sivankutty announced the SSLC results here Wednesday. The overall pass percentage is 99.26 this year. 44,363 students have got full A plus in all subjects. The students who got A plus in all subjects has dropped by 3% when compared to last year.
2134 schools have achieved 100 percent success. Of these, 760 are government schools. The pass percentage last year was 99.47.This time there is a slight drop in the pass percentage.
Kannur is the revenue district getting the highest pass percentage (99.76%). Wayanad is the lowest (92.07%). Pala is the education district having the highest pass percentage. Lowest pass percentage is in Attingal.
The results are available in pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in, sslcexam.kerala.gov.in, results.kite.kerala.gov.in, prd.kerala.gov.in websites from 4 pm onwards. The mark lists can also be downloaded.
Out of the 2977 students who appeared for the examination in the Technical Higher Secondary section, 2912 have passed. The pass percentage is 99.49. 112 students got full A plus.
The application for re-evaluation of answer sheets can be submitted online from tomorrow till 22nd. The notification for SAY exam will be published separately. The students who have not qualified for higher studies can appear for the SAY examination up to a maximum of three subjects. The exam will be in July.
A total of 4,26,469 students had appeared for the exam in 2962 centres. The exams were held from March 31 to April 29. The results are announced after one and a half months of completion of exams. This time there is no grace mark. About 70 per cent of the questions were from the focus area and 30 per cent from outside the focus area.
