THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Lashing out at IndiGo airlines, LDF convenor EP Jayarajan said that Indigo's offices will be shut down if K-Rail is launched. He was reacting while traveling from Thiruvananthapuram to Kannur by train after IndiGo banned him for three weeks.

"Indigo has taken a very wrong stance. IndiGo gave protection to criminals and banned those who took the right stand to prevent attacks against the Chief Minister from travelling," Jayarajan said."I'm a regular traveler. if K-Rail comes, Indigo's offices will be shut down. I was supposed to go to Kannur by IndiGo flight. However, now I've cancelled the ticket and got the money back. IndiGo has taken a wrong stand regarding the Indian Air Service," Jayarajan said.

Earlier on Monday, IndiGo airlines announced that it has imposed a travel ban on LDF convener EP Jayarajan for three weeks and youth congress workers Farzeen and Naveen Kumar for two weeks in connection with the Youth Congress protest against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inside the aircraft on June 12.
