BJP leader’s son accidentally shoots dead neighbour while playing

LUCKNOW: A BJP leader's son accidentally shot dead his neighbour while playing ‘thief and police’. The tragic incident happened at Kaushambi in Uttar Pradesh. The BJP leader’s 10-year-old son was playing with his neighbour. Meanwhile, the boy playing a policeman took his father's licensed gun and accidentally pulled the trigger of the gun and fired. His 11-year-old neighbor was shot and died on the spot itself. The boy was shot around 6.30 pm last evening.

The incident took place within the limits of Karari police station. Kaushambi Additional Superintendent of Police Samar Bahadur Singh said that the complaint has not been registered yet and the victim's body has been sent for post-mortem.
