Pocket money given by father was not enough; police arrest youth, stepmother for stealing motorbikes 

NEW DELHI: Police have arrested a youth who started stealing motorbikes along with his stepmother to make money. The police arrested the two for stealing bikes and scooters and renting them out to criminals. The arrested have been identified as Sultanpuri native Rishab and his stepmother Preeti. They also recovered six stolen vehicles and two stolen mobile phones from the accused.

The police arrested the accused during an inspection conducted the other day on the basis of a tip-off. After arresting the accused, the police found two stolen mobile phones in their possession.

During interrogation, Rishab, who studied in a public school in Dehradun, told the police that he stole motorbikes to live a luxurious life as he did not get enough pocket money from his father. Rishab, who is a drug addict, lives with his stepmother.
