KANNUR: An industry award winning couple who fled from Thalassery has been found. Raj Kabeer (58) of Panur Thazhe Veettil and his wife Sreedivya (48) were found from Coimbatore. They will be brought to Thalassery via train. The couple fled from their hometown after the municipality downed their furniture factory.

The factory with ten employees was closed by the municipality on the allegation of encroachment. A fine of Rs 4 lakh was also imposed. The high court order was to pay the amount in instalments on the complaint of the couple. Complaints were also raised that the couple who came with this order were insulted by the officials and municipal administrators.

The couple went missing on Tuesday evening. The couple left the hometown after posting on social media that they are fleeing the place as they could not bear the brutal action and asked not to find them. The police got hints last evening that they are in Coimbatore in an investigation conducted focusing on the tower location. The couple had received the best businessmen award from Minister P Rajeev last year.
