No two factions in CPI, such news is media creation, says Kanam Rajendran

THALASSERY: CPI Secretary Kanam Rajendran says that the news about him being severely criticized in CPI district meetings and about Kanam faction suffering setback during office-bearers election is all media creation. Kanam came up with the justification in the representative meet of the Kannur District meeting. He said that the media is spreading news that there are different factions within the party.

'The agenda set by some people as part of the CPI district meeting is coming out as news in the same form. Some media are streaming such fabricated news. Some people are working behind this. It could be media or enemies of party.', said Kanam.

He also opined that in the current Indian scenario, the CPI and CPM should unite.
