Padma's mangalsutra and ring missing from ornaments pawned by Shafi

KOCHI: The family of Padma, victim of human sacrifice in Elanthoor, said more of her ornaments have to be found. Padma's son Seth said that her thali and ring are missing from the ornaments pawned by Shafi. Her sister Pazhaniyamma had earlier stated that gold of sovereigns which were on her body were missing.

Shafi, the first accused said that he had pawned her gold. However, in the evidence collected from the financial firm, the ornaments were recovered but all were not there. Apart from the tali and the ring, two silver anklets were also missing. The investigation team said the accused will be interrogated again to find the remaining gold.
