SRINAGAR: The Indian army has foiled the plan of the militants to carry out suicide attacks on the camp of security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. Four militants were killed by the army in twin encounters that took place in South Kashmir. The encounters took place in Awantipora and Anantnag. The army killed three militants in Awantipora and one in Anantnag. One of the militants is a foreigner.
The militants killed in Awantipora are accused in cases of killing security personnel. The Kashmir ADGP said that a major disaster was averted as the militants, who had links with the Lashkar-e-Taiba, had planned to carry out a suicide attack on the security forces' camp.
