D R Anil admits to have drafted letter, wanted district secretary to recommend qualified people 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Corporation standing committee chief and parliamentary party secretary D R Anil admitted that the letter for CPM district secretary Anavoor Nagappan recommending appointment of employees to rest room of SAT Hospital, was drafted by him. He said that he decided to request the district secretary for appointment there in the context of constant daily news that the rest room of the SAT Hospital is not being opened.

Anil said that he thought of giving the letter to Anavoor Nagappan to expedite the process based on the appointments via Kudumbashree. However, it was my misunderstanding. Did not demand the party secretary to make appointments. The letter was drafted but had not given it. He said the letter was drafted for the party secretary to point the qualified people.

Mystery still shrouds on Mayor Arya Rajendran’s controversial letter sent to CPM district secretary asking a list of party activists for temporary appointment in the corporation. Even though the mayor asserted that the letter is fake and its sources should be found, the mayor and the party are groping in the dark without saying whether the letter is fake.
