Didn't know about Greeshma's love affair with Sharon, things mentioned in case are fabricated allegations; Greeshma's mother and uncle seek bail

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The mother and uncle of Greeshma, the main accused in the Parassala Sharon murder case, have filed a bail petition in the High Court. In their petition, Greeshma's mother Sindhu and uncle Nirmmalakumaran stated that they did not know that Greeshma and Sharon were in love. They alleged that the police were aiming to force Greeshma to confess the crime by putting her under mental pressure by naming them the accused. They also argued in the petition that the claim that the poison bottle was kept hidden was only a fabricated allegation.

Meanwhile, following the legal advice received by the police in the Sharon murder case, it was decided to hand over the investigation to the Tamil Nadu police. As the incident that led to Sharon's death took place in Ramavarman Chira in Tamil Nadu, as per the law, it is the Tamil Nadu Police that should investigate the case and take further action.
