Karuvannur bank fraud: Court orders confiscation of properties of five accused

THRISSUR: Thrissur Vigilance Court has ordered the confiscation of the properties of five accused in the Karuvannur bank fraud case. The vigilance court has ordered the confiscation of the properties belonging to manager Biju Karim, accountant Jills, commission agent Bijoy and supermarket cashier Raji K Anil.

58 properties earned by the five accused from 2011 to 2021 will be confiscated. The action is based on the request of the Crime Branch investigation team. The crime branch also informed the court that the accused had sanctioned a fake loan of Rs 117 crore during the period.
