PM’s mother admitted to hospital; condition stable, say authorities

AHMEDABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 99-year-old mother has been admitted to the hospital. The reports that came in said Heeraben Modi has been admitted at the hospital in Ahmedabad after her health deteriorated last night. The Prime Minister has left for Ahmedabad.

A statement from UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre said that her condition is stable. The hospital authorities have not shared any other piece of information.

BJP's MLAs Darshanaben Vaghela and Kaushik Jain have reached the hospital. Modi had met his mother when he was in Gujarat to campaign for the recently held assembly polls.
