JERUSALEM: A couple reportedly abandoned their baby at the check-in counter of the airport in Tel Aviv, Israel as didn't have a ticket for the baby and refused to buy one.

The couple boarded a Ryanair Airlines flight from Ben Gurion International Airport. On reaching the counter with the baby, the couple were asked to buy a ticket for the infant. They refused and went ahead to board the flight after leaving the baby at the counter.
“A couple and an infant with Belgian passports arrived for a flight at Terminal 1 without a ticket for the baby. The couple also arrived late for the flight, once the check-in for the flight was closed. The couple left the infant seat with the baby and ran toward the security checks at Terminal 1 in an attempt to reach the boarding gate for the flight.”, Israel authorities confirmed,
The baby is now with the parents. Further details of the parents haven't been disclosed.
