AHMEDABAD: A newlywed is among the dead in the flight that crashed yesterday. The dead is Khushboo Rajpurohit of Rajasthan. She lost her life while going to meet her husband Manfool Singh in London. The couple got married in January.
Khushboo, was a resident of a small village called Araba in Balotra of Rajasthan. Manfool Singh is studying in London. He had to leave soon after the wedding. After months of waiting, she left happily to join her husband in London.
Khushboo last picture with a relative was clicked outside the airport. A smile had lighted up her face and this picture is being circulated on social media.
Among the dead are two air hostesses from Manipur. They are from the Kuki and Meiti communities of Manipur, which have been hit by communal violence. They were close friends. The two has been identified as Nangathoy Sharma Kongbrailatpam (22) and Lanuntem Singson (28). Including them, 10 crew members were also killed in the plane crash.
Nangathoy Sharma hails from Thoubal district in the Imphal Valley. They belong to the Meiti community. Lanuntem Singson, who hails from Kangpokpi district, is also a Kuki community. After the news of the tragedy broke out, relatives and locals had reached Nangathoy Sharma's house. Nangathoy last spoke to her family at 9 am.
No information is currently available about Lanuntem Singson's family. The only information received was that her family fled following communal violence.
