arjun-

SHIRUR: The search for Arjun, who went missing in the landslide in Karnataka, is progressing on the 11th day. A fourth signal has been picked up in the river using the IBOD.

The new signal was obtained during search using a private company's technology system. The signal was received near the dune formed in the middle of the river Gangavali. The private company informs that the signal may be of the truck itself. Inspections were carried out today by installing special cameras on the boat and flying a drone.

Exact location was not found during yesterday's inspection. It was reported that the truck was 60 meters away from the river, the truck was not separated and it was at a depth of five meters. Due to heavy rain, the inspection was terminated in the evening. The Navy, Army and NDRF went on a boat and conducted an in-depth inspection.

Meanwhile, a crucial meeting will be held today on what to do next as the joint search by the Navy, Army and IBOD team has not made much progress. The meeting is held by the mission team representatives and officials. The Uttara Kannada district administration has clarified that the mission is not feasible these days as heavy rains continue. Karnataka will convey the decision to the ministerial team from Kerala after the consultation of the task force.

Remnants of the tea shop were found during the boom excavator inspection. Heavy rain and wind in the area till last night. Uttara Kannada district is on orange alert for three days from today. The inspection of the Iboard drone continued till late yesterday but no human presence was detected.
