Son stabs father to death in drunken brawl in Thrissur, taken into custody

THRISSUR: A youth in an inebriated condition stabbed his father to death at Koratty in Thrissur. The dead is Joy (56) of Attappadam. The police have taken his son Christy into custody. The incident happened last night. Joy is a security guard. Christy himself informed the police about the murder.

The police then arrived and examined the spot. Christy did not admit committing the crime in the beginning. The police got information that the two often enters into a verbal dispute under the influence of alcohol. The police also recovered a knife from the spot. The accused confessed to the crime after grilled continuously. His arrest will be registered soon.
