Youth released from jail found brutally murdered, body in hollow bricks company

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A youth released from jail was found brutally hacked to death. He has been identified as Aneesh (28) of Puthen Veedu at Ayacode coming under Naruvamoodu police station limits. His body was found in a hollow bricks company at Kulangarakkonam Sunday morning.

A chain of a woman from the area was stolen last night. His body was found during a police investigation on the complaint.

Aneesh, an accused in many criminal cases, was in preventive custody in a Kerala Anti-Social Activities Prevention Act (KAPA) case. He was released from prison a few weeks ago.

Police have intensified search for the accused. The CCTV footages are being examined.
