‘UDF will behave like ruling party until May 4’: Goal is to raise funds, says Riyas 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Mohammed Riyas said the UDF leadership will speak and behave like the ruling party till May 4, when the election results will be announced. Riyas mocked saying the goal is fundraising. He was speaking to the media in Thiruvananthapuram.

The UDF leadership will create the impression that they are going to come to power until May 4. There are many reasons for that. One is that there will be a facility to raise funds in a good way. This happened last time too. In 2021, they had even discussed the portfolios. If you examine the responses of the UDF leadership at that time, you can see that they went beyond this.

The LDF will continue to rule in the state. The LDF will win well in Kozhikode. The LDF will have a big victory by getting more than the all-time record of 82,000 votes in Beypore in 2021. There was no minority integration in the elections. Development and general politics were discussed. The introduction of the nativity card in Kerala and the notification that the citizenship register will not be implemented have created a good impression in favor of the LDF government in the secular minds. Muhammad Riyas added that the LDF has the popular support to overcome whatever deal is made between the UDF and the BJP.
