65-year-old woman dies in Kozhikode after being electrocuted by broken electric line

KOZHIKODE: Woman dies after being electrocuted by a broken electric wire in Kozhilandy. The deceased is Fathima (65), a native of Kuruvangad. The tree branch broke and fell into the electric line. The accident occurred at around 3.15 am. Fatima met with the accident when she went outside to check after she heard the sound of a tree branch breaking off in the field next to her house.

The branch broke and fell on top of the electric wire, which then broke and fell to the ground. Locals say that Fatima accidentally touched the electric wire, which caused her to get electrocuted. Seeing Fatima getting electrocuted and falling, the locals rushed and used sticks to free her from the electric line.
