Fireworks display of Thrissur Pooram to be held on Saturday

THRISSUR: The fireworks display of Thrissur Pooram, which was postponed due to heavy rain, will be held on Saturday. The district administration, on Friday, approved the joint decision taken by devaswoms to start the fireworks display at 6.30 pm.

The fireworks display was postponed due to heavy rain on the day of Pooram. Back then, the decision was to hold fireworks on Sunday. The decision to conduct it a day earlier was taken due to the reason that cleaning would be easier on Sunday as it is a holiday.
