Five-year-old dies after falling into stream in front of house

ALAPPUZHA: In a tragic incident, a five-year-old boy died after falling into a stream in front of his house. The deceased has been identified as Joshua (5), the son of Edathua Chekkidikkadu native Jaison Thomas and Asha. The incident took place at around 4 pm on Saturday. He was found in the canal during a search conducted after he went missing. Though he was immediately taken to the hospital, his life could not be saved. Joshua was a UKG student at Pachha Vimala Nursery School.
