Kerala likely to receive rain till Wednesday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that isolated places in Kerala are likely to receive rain with thunder and lightning until Wednesday.

At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued due to the possibility of high temperatures in several districts. On Monday, temperatures may rise up to 40°C in Palakkad, 39°C in Kollam, and 38°C in Kottayam. In Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur, and Kasaragod, temperatures may reach up to 37°C, while Thiruvananthapuram may see temperatures up to 36°C.
