Mishap during screening of Dulquer Salmaan movie 'Lucky Baskhar'; water tank in theater collapse; two injured

KANNUR: Water tank in theatre collapsed while screening of the movie 'Lucky Bhaskar'. The incident took place at Sahina Cinemas in Mattannur, Kannur. Two people were injured in the accident. They have been admitted to the hospital. A portion of the building where the water tank was placed was also damaged. As the water tank burst, water from above flowed into the theatre.

The cement blocks and ceiling of the building along with the water tank fell on the seats, injuring those who had come to watch the movie. One person got stuck under the ceiling. The screening of the film was disrupted following the incident. According to those present at the theatre, the incident took place when the screening of 'Lucky Baskhar' resumed after the interval.
